I was going to do a fresh install of Duke Nukem 3D. I have the origonal
"Complete Version" disk and Plutonium Pack update (to Atomic). The origonal
installed fine but Plutonium pack gave error "Not Enough Memory" and that I
need at least 8 MB. I have 2 GB of RAM. Any idea how to install?

TIA, Kent

OK I figured it out:

1. Start>run>cmd to bring up a DOS console window.
2. D:
3. cd plutinst
4. patch C:\game\duke3d (or where ever the game is).

Whoops! It looked like the above worked but it did not. This is the right
way:

1. Install origonal v1.3 Duke Nukem 3D.
2. Download ppack15.exe from 3DRealms.com, the Plutonium PAK 1.4 to 1.5
patch.
3. Insert Plutonium Pack CD in drive.
4. Run ppack15.exe and select 1.3 to 1.4 update (only).
5. Run ppack15.exe and select 1.4 to 1.5 update.
6. It will say sucess. If not, delete all files and start over.

The duke3d.grp file should be 43,317 KB and have a date of 12/11/1996.

Enjoy,
Kent
